3M Double-Sided Polyester Tape 9795 9690

3M™ Double Coated Tape 9795 performs exceptionally well under harsh conditions while providing stability and ease of handling during processing. 

This double-sided tape features a thin 0.5 mil black polyester film carrier coated on both sides with 3M high-tack adhesive 420, making 

it ideal for bonding bezels, displays, and electronic components. The printed 58 lb PCK release liner adds stability for efficient processing.

Easy-to-Process Tape for Demanding Applications

3M™ Double Coated Tape 9795 is a 5.7 mil PET tape designed for applications across a wide temperature range. 

The tape features a 0.5 mil polyester film carrier, providing excellent handling during processing such as slitting, die-cutting, and lamination. 

Coated with 2.8 mil of 3M™ Adhesive 420 on the face side and 2.3 mil on the back side, it is ideal for bonding applications such as bezels, 

cover lenses, and electronic components. This adhesive offers very high impact resistance, initial tack, and excellent temperature resistance.

The 4 mil, 58 lb poly-coated kraft paper printed liner adds stability for efficient processing such as die-cutting.

About our Acrylic Adhesive 420

3M™ Adhesive 420 is a medium-firm acrylic adhesive with good adhesion to metals and medium surface energy (MSE) plastics such as polycarbonate, 

ABS, acrylic, and polyimide. It provides excellent temperature resistance in demanding applications, with a working temperature up to 250°F/121°C 

and short-term temperature resistance up to 300°F/149°C. It can also bond at temperatures as low as 32°F/0°C and provides impact resistance.

About Double Coated Tapes

Generally, double-coated tapes consist of a layer of paper, film, or non-woven carrier coated on both sides with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. 

The adhesive is protected by a removable liner, which can be removed during application or when the bonding surfaces are ready for adhesion. 

These tapes can be applied manually or using a dispenser. Double-sided tape dispensers are available in a variety of configurations, from manual 

to fully automatic. Applications for double-sided tape include construction, manufacturing, art, and hobbies.
